Why applyfit shows evidence, not just a score

Every item in an applyfit breakdown carries a quote from your resume or says plainly that none was found. If a quote cannot be located in your resume text, we mark it unverified and treat the item as missing.

The score is computed by ordinary code from those items and fixed weights. The model never writes the number, so the same inputs give the same result.

That is also why we keep each comparison: you can see what changed when you edit your resume.
